PURPOSE:To efficiently perform washing through a fluid mixture containing air bubbles, by continuously supplying compressed air into a paint supply passage at first and subsequently supplying a solvent such as a thinner only for predetermined time along with compressed air to perform washing. CONSTITUTION:For example, in the washing work of the first pipeline 74, when pipelines 68a-68d are respectively blocked under the driving action of a paint change-over means 62 and compressed air is supplied to a pipeline 70b through a regulator 72b, compressed air is supplied into a first pipeline 74 under the action of a change-over means 66b and led out to the outside from a pipeline 92 through a discharge valve 80. After the elapse of a predetermined time, a change-over valve 66a is driven to supply the thinner having predetermined pressure supplied from a regulator 72a through a pipeline 70a into the first pipeline 72 along with compressed air. Whereupon, air bubbles are generated in the fluid mixture of the thinner and compressed air and adhered paint is washed off by impact force generated when said air bubbles are destructed upon the collision with said paint.
