PURPOSE:To increase the degree of freedom of the design of a steering wheel by integrally forming a steering wheel installing member with a steering shaft, on the bottom end of the spoke part of a steering wheel core metal. CONSTITUTION:A steering wheel side installing member 2 which is bent in a lateral U-shape is welded to a steering wheel body 10. And, a steering shaft side installing member 3 which is also bent in a lateral U-shape is welded to the end of a steering shaft 20. The installing member 2 of the steering wheel body 10 is fitted to the installing member 3 of the setting shaft 20 and both are joined together in an integrated form by means of bolts 4, to assemble the steering wheel and shaft.
