PURPOSE:To manufacture a body frame, by a method wherein a metallic sheet is formed by blanking it in a given shape by a press, folding processing is applied on the blanked metallic sheet to form frame units, which are engaged with each other for assembly. CONSTITUTION:A metallic sheet A is formed by blanking it in a given shape by using a press. Folding processing is applied on the blanked metallic sheet A to form frame units 11 and 12 on the right and the left side of a body frame. Frame units 13 and 14 on the front end the rear side of the body and a base frame unit 15 are formed in a similar manner described above. The frame units 11-15 are butted in given spots against each other and spot-welded in necessary spots to form a body frame.
