PURPOSE:To enable the prevention of magnetic characteristic deterioration due to tool's gripping external force and to enable the retaining of excellent magnetic characteristics in an amorphous magnetic material, by holding a core on a surface and performing protective coating for the core. CONSTITUTION:When a magnetic core is formed by winding a coil around a core 1, which is formed of laminated amorphous magnetic material strips, through protective coating 6, 6', the protective coating 6, 6' is performed while the core 1 is supported on a surface. For example, while a core 1, which is formed by winding band-shaped ferro-amorphous magnetic material strips, is disposed so that its side 1a is turned upwards and its side 16 is in touch with a beard 8, a coating layer 5 is formed on the core 1 by spraying a photosetting epoxy resin from a nozzle 10. Consecutively, UV radiation is performed by a UV lamp 11 so that the coating layer 5 is set, and next protective coating 6 is performed on the side 1a. Successively, the core 1 is turned over so that its side 1a on which the protective coating is performed is in touch with the board 8, and the protective coating 6' is performed on the side 1b in the same way as above-mentioned.
