PURPOSE:To prevent the increase in a magnetic resistance in an upper part magnetic body by providing an upper part magnetic body formed approximately rectangularily and flatly and a lower part magnetic body to form a closed magnetic path through a gap. CONSTITUTION:The rear part of an upper part magnetic body 44 formed approximately rectangularily and flatly is connected through a gap layer 42 with a projection part 30 of a lower part magnetic body 24. The tip part of the upper part magnetic body 44 forms a gap 48 through a gap layer 42 at the section of the lower part magnetic body 24, and the upper part magnetic body 44 and the lower part magnetic body 24 constitute the closed magnetic path through the gap 48. A track width in the gap 48 is regulated with a projection part 38 of the lower part magnetic body 24. Thus, a magnetic domain is very stable, the magnetic domain can be controlled to a high efficiency, an unnecessary stress does not occur and the magnetic resistance can be made smaller. |
