The screw-type injection press described comprises a base frame which receives an injection unit, said unit comprising a screw-type cylinder (1), a rotary screw which is axially movable in the latter, as well as a drive device (2) for the screw, arranged axially behind the screw-type cylinder. The latter is connected in a removable manner to the drive device (2) and can pivot, independently of said device, around a pivoting axis (6) which extends vertically at a certain distance before its rear end. The screw cylinder (1) and/or the drive device (2) are arranged on the press in such a way as to be able to advance separately of one another in the direction of the axis of the injection unit, which, after release of the fixing system, enables the rear end of the screw to be removed from the drive device (2). |
