The television image tube (2) described comprises a flat spherical screen (1) with a convex curvature in relation to the television viewer, a supplementary convex glass (3), located at a distance in front of the screen (1), and a transparent moulded coat of resin (5) applied between said screen (1) and the supplementary glass (3) in order to ensure their mutual adhesion. The supplementary glass (3) has a cylindrical curve only in one direction around a vertical axis. Its curvature radius is considerably greater than that of the screen (1). The refraction index of the coat of moulded resin (5) corresponds to that of the supplementary glass (3) and of the screen (1). |
