The holder comprises a folder having three hinged panels; the two outer panels being foldable over the central panel which supports a structure with a needle, the latter being held and located across a U-shaped notch at the centre panel top end. Pref. the holder is paper or plastics, and the structure is porous expanded PTFE, or silk or cotton. One outer panel has a corresponding Ushaped notch, and the outer panel is cut away so as not to cover the notches.
