<p>A handle unit for a vehicle door lock system has a lever door handle mounted on a pivot in a housing. The lever can be locked in the position which corresponds to a "door locked" condition. A release button allows the lever to be locked or released so that the lever can be operated. The lever is locked by a detent which captures the lever and can be released by pushing the detent away from the lever.</p> |
