PURPOSE:To reduce the number of elements and simplify an external circuit, by constituting the title circuit by one set of transistors consisting of a PNP transistor and a NPN transistor. CONSTITUTION:A double voltage generating circuit consists of a PNP transistor 1, a NPN transistor 2, diodes 3, 6, capacitors 4, 5 and a resistor 10. When a clock pulse is inputted into an input terminal 7 under a condition that capacitors 4, 5 are kept charged, a power source voltage is realized on output terminals 8, 9 with a plus level or a minus level in accordance with the high level or the low level of the clock pulse. As a result, a voltage double of the power source voltage may be obtained between the output terminals 8, 9.
