PURPOSE:To reproduce a signal by a wireless receiver with the same perfor mance of a compact disk player by applying phase modulation to a signal reproduced from a disk and sending the result. CONSTITUTION:A carrier generated by a carrier generator 17 is subjected to modulation so as to be a positive phase when an output of a waveform shaping circuit 7 is at '1' and so as to be an negative phase when '0' by a phase modulator 16. The signal subject to phase modulation is fed to an antenna 19 via a transmission amplifier 18 and radiated as a radio wave. A carrier recovery circuit 24 extracts a carrier component from the received phase modula tion signal, recovers the carrier of the same phase as that of the transmission side and a phase demodulator 23 multiplies the output 24' of the carrier recovery circuit 24 and the received phase demodulation signal to apply phase demodulation. Since the same signal as the output of a waveform shaping circuit 7 of a compact disk player 1 is obtained, the same processing as the compact disk player is applied to recover the audio signal and the result is outputted to output terminals 29, 30.
