PURPOSE:To enable a one-way clutch rotate in a body with driven side by frictional force between an outer ring and side plates by disposing a resilient member to impel the side plates in the radial direction between a pair of side plates retaining a lot of cams and the outer ring. CONSTITUTION:Many cams 23 are disposed between ring-shaped side plates 21, 22, a wire cage 24 is hooked on engaging portions formed on the inner peripheral edges of both side plates 21, 22 to retain the cams 23. A coiled spring 25 is fitted and wound in the outer peripheral groove 23a of the cam 23 to serve as a stopper. A flange portion 22a is formed on the outer peripheral edge of one side plate 22, and a groove portion 26a is formed on the inner peripheral surface of an outer ring 26 that confronts the flange portion, and a coiled spring 27 is fitted in the groove portion to force the flange portion 22a in the radial direction. Accordingly, large frictional force generates between the outer ring 26 and the side plate 22, so that a one-way clutch 20 is rotated in a body with the outer ring 26.
