PURPOSE:To release a pipe after drawing without increasing a knockout stroke by making a mandrel movable within the fixed range along the pressure fitting direction of a pipe and energizing it with a spring in the releasing direction. CONSTITUTION:At the drawing time of a pipe P a mandrel 35 is ascended by the spring force of a coil spring 48 until its flange 36 is abutted to a cylindrical member 11 and a knockout member 28 is ascended as well. When the pipe P is moved along a press-fitting direction 22, the outer periphery is formed by drawing with the pressure fitting into a forming hole part 24 with being constrained by the mandrel 35 at its inner face. At this time, the mandrel 35 is moved in the pressure fitting direction with shrinking a spring 48. On completion of the drawing a knockout pin 32 is driven and them knockout member 28 pressure the pipe P for a releasing direction 33 via a pressing member 31 to release the pipe P from a die 21. At this time, the mandrel 35 is blocked at its moving and only the knockout member 28 works to release.
