PURPOSE:To stably, continuously and economically form a metal fine wire having high quality and round section by constituting a molten metal discharging crucible by two steps at upper and lower, which a continuous melting part for raw metal and a continuous discharging part for the molten are consecutive ly arranged as one body. CONSTITUTION:The molten metal discharging the crucible 1, is consecucutively arranged as one body by the upper step melting part 12A and the lower step molten metal discharging part 12B and the raw metal is continuously supplied into the upper step melting part 12A and the molten metal is supplied into the lower step molten metal discharging part 12B by overflow. Therefore, at the time of charging the raw metal, the temp. variation of the molten metal at the upper step is wide, such as + or -10 deg.C, but this variation at the lower step is become to narrow, such as within + or -1 deg.C, and temp control at the lower step molten metal discharging part 12B is become to easy caused to develop on disturbance of the discharging flow. Further, as the slag in the molten metal is floated up, separated, absorbed and filtered out at the upper step molten metal part 12A, clogging of a nozzle 4 does not occur and always stable discharging flow is obtd. and the metal fine wire can be continuously formed.
