Method of producing multi-foils

In order to create a multi-foil package which can be used, for example, as heat-exchanger panels, it is proposed that a multiplicity of metallic foils be placed one above the other, that sectional areas of the foils be provided with weld-inhibiting or weld-preventing coatings or layers, and that the foil package thus formed be subjected to explosive welding.
