PURPOSE:To obtain a nonblooming silicone rubber molding having the same crosslinking characteristics as those attained when crosslinked with a conventional bis(2,4-dichlorobenzoyl) peroxide, by using bis(2-fluorobenzoyl) peroxide as a crosslinking agent for a silicone rubber. CONSTITUTION:Bis(2-fluorobenzoyl) peroxide is used as a crosslinking agent for a silicone rubber. The amount of bis(2-fluorobenzoyl) peroxide used is about 0.5-10mmol. per 100g of the silicone rubber. Examples of crosslinkable silicone rubbers include dimethylsilicone rubber, methylvinylsilicone rubber, methylphe nylsilicone rubber and chlorosilicone rubber. The crosslinking temperature is desirably about 90-150 deg.C.
