PURPOSE:To stabilize a superconductive characteristic in the lapse of time by forming a gas invasion-preventing layer, which is made of a material not reacting to a superconductor and ingredients contained in an atmosphere, on a surface of the oxide group superconductor on a substrate and next forming a protective film on a surface of this layer. CONSTITUTION:A gas invasion-preventing layer 13, which is made of a stable material not reacting to a superconductor 11 and ingredients contained in an atmosphere, on a surface of the superconductor oxide group 11 which is formed on a substrate 12. A protective film 14 is formed on a surface of this gas invasion-preventing layer 13. The gas invasion-preventing layer 13 is made of Si3N4 or SiOxNy group materials (where x and y are defined quantity of atoms), and further the substrate 12 may be composed of a single-crystal fiber. A superconductive characteristic, which is stable over a long period, can be hence obtained and also endurance can be improved.
