The fluid bag (22) of the present invention has a first fluid bag region (A1) which expands when supplied with a fluid and which is enclosed by a part of the fluid bag (22), in the longitudinal direction of a cuff (20), corresponding to a first half surface (90a), in which an artery exists, of the outer peripheral surface of a site being measured (90). Further, the fluid bag (22) has an extending region (A2) which is extended by means of an external operation and which is enclosed by a part of the fluid bag (22), in the longitudinal direction of the cuff (20), corresponding to a second half surface (90b) of the outer peripheral surface of the site being measured (90). During pressurization for blood pressure measurement, a stroke amount (Z2) through which the extended region (A2) expands is greater than a stroke amount (Z1) through which the first fluid bag region (A1) expands, in the thickness direction.
