PURPOSE:To enable the arbitrary feed and stop of hot water through a remote control switch, a foot switch, or a switch by means of a telecontrol signal unit, by a method wherein a motor valve for feeding water is actuated by means of a momentary type switch having the connection terminal of an external switch. CONSTITUTION:A switch 31 is of a type (momentary type structure) in which it is turned ON when it is pressed and turned OFF when released from press, and with the switch 31 pressed, the oil of a relay 38 is excited. Along with the excitation of the coil, a limit switch 42 is turned OFF, and a motor valve 8 for feeding water is opened to feed water in the direction of a 3-way valve 9. Since the switch 31 enables alternate control of the feed and stop of hot water in an electric hot water feeder only by applying a momentary H-potential on the CLK terminal of an IC 34, a switch for remote control or a foot switch is connected instead of the switch 31 to enable execution of control from the outside. Instead of the switch 31, a control signal line, e.g. telecommunication systems, is connected and the automatic feed or stop of hot water is practicable through utilization of a telephone circuit.
