Disclosed are an information recommendation method and a user terminal. The method comprises: receiving a control instruction carrying fingerprint characteristic information; in response to the control instruction, acquiring a pre-stored play record associated with the fingerprint characteristic information; according to the play record, determining a preference type of a user to which the fingerprint characteristic information belongs; and recommending a program matching the preference type. By implementing the embodiments of the present invention, the efficiency of recommending a program can be improved. |
