Stripline/waveguide junction

The invention relates to a stripline/waveguide junction, in the case of which the electrical field is concentrated, with the aid of a specially shaped metal sheet, in the waveguide centre between the lower waveguide inner wall and the metal sheet. A specially formed dielectric reinforces the field concentration in this region. A stripline which makes contact with the metal sheet and has a similar field structure makes possible a broadband, low-reflection junction.
