PURPOSE: To prevent positional deviation and improve the design effect of the card by printing designed patterns on a back cover medium laminated on the optical recording medium formed on a substrate. CONSTITUTION: The optical recording medium 3 is prepared over the guide groove 2 of the substrate 1 and laminated with a backside covering material 5 to protect the optical recording medium 3 and designed patterns are printed on the outer surface of material 5. The thickness of the material 5 is 0.2-0.6 mm and the total thickness including optical recording medium 3 and adhesive layer 4 is adjusted to 0.76 mm. The designed patterns 6 are printed with ink having high performance for printing by a printing method such as gravure, silk screen, letterpress, and intaglio printing. The thickness of the printed pattern is normally 10-300 μm, desirably 10-150 μm. |
