Method of removing rolls of fabric from weaving machine - has empty wind-on bar pressed between roller and replaced bar against and trapping fabric which is then cut

The method is for replacing one roll of woven textile with an empty one. The fabric on the roll or bar is trained round a roller and an empty fabric winding-on bar is pressed between the roller and replaced bar against the fabric. The new bar is pressed against the fabric side opposite to that which contacts the roller. The new bar and roller clamp the fabric between them and the fabric is then cut between the empty new winding-on bar and the full roll. The fabric is trained around the new bar with the cut end introduced being introduced between the new bar and roller, over which the rest is wound.
