<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an image of high quality without gap between dots to be formed by arranging light transmitting windows for transmitting light from shutter elements so that the light transmitting windows of one row are partly superposed between the light transmitting windows of the other row in a zigzag state. CONSTITUTION:Light shielding masks 6 for shielding light are disposed on shutter windows 16, 17 formed in a parallelpiped shape larger than one pixel. The peripheries of the windows 16, 17 are shielded by the masks 6, and light transmitting windows 18, 19 for transmitting light from the windows 16, 17 are arranged in each row of shutter elements 11, 12 in a zigzag state. The windows 19 of one row are disposed between the windows 18 of the other row, and the windows 18, 19 of the rows are partly superposed on each other.</p> |
