PURPOSE:To remarkably reduce the developing time by exposing the title material which comprises a photographic emulsion layer and a compd. shown by a prescribed formula, followed by developing the exposed material with a developer contg. a compd. shown by a prescribed formula. CONSTITUTION:The material comprising the photographic emulsion layer contg. an inner latent image type silver halide particle, and the compd. shown by formula I, is applied on a supporting body. In the formula, Za and Zb are each =(C-R<2>)- or =N- group, R<1> and R<2> are each H atom or a substituting group, X is H atom or a group capable of being released by a coupling reaction with the oxidant of an aromatic primary amine developing agent, when Za=Zb is C=C bond, said group may be a part of an aromatic ring, R<1>, R<2> or X together with each other may form a polymer. And the developer contains the compd. shown by formula II and has <=11.0pH, and the material is processed with said developer for <=2min. And, in formula II, R<1>-R<5> are each H atom or 1-4C alkyl group, R<1> and R<4> and/or R<2> and R<5> together with each other may form a ring, (l) is 2-4, (m) is 0 or 1-2, (n) is 2-6. The good positive color photography is obtd. for a short time by processing the material with the developer. |
