<p>The present invention relates to a device for the withdrawal of sample sheets from the chain delivery unit with series of gripper elements attached to it and a cam-controlled gripper opening feature in a sheet rotary printing machine. The actual gripper opening cam (17) is, as can be seen from figure -1-, adjustable to a rotating control cam (26) and transferable by means of this cam to a position originating the opening of the grippers and to a position preventing the said opening. By means of a second downstream gripper opening cam (27) the retarded gripper opening motion is then initiated and the paper sheet (8) is fed by the series of grippers (7) to a conveying system (10,11,28-30) transfering the same to the subsequent operating unit.</p> |
