The invention relates to an ice-cream maker (churn) equipped with a casing and with a container in the form of a pot 1 serving for receiving a mass of ice cream and whose inner base 6 and inner wall 13 may be refrigerated by means of a cold-accumulating medium 21, it being possible for a scraper-stirrer to be displaced, particularly over the said inner base, which container in the form of a pot 1 is constituted by an outer pot part 4 and an inner pot part 3, the upper edge of the inner pot part 3 being crimped around the upper edge of the outer pot part 4 and the cavity between the two pot parts 3, 4 receiving the cold-accumulating medium. In this ice-cream maker (churn), -the outer pot part 4 is made from flexible plastic and the inner pot part 3 from metal and the two pot parts are connected together in a liquid- and gas-tight manner, -the outer pot part 4 has bearing ribs 17 which face inwards, against which ribs the inner pot part 3 bears, the said ribs gripping the latter radially by means of an inwardly-directed pressure. <IMAGE>
