PURPOSE:To rapidly execute texture mapping processing as a whole by temporarily storing information on a source vector read out of a source information holding means and writing the information in any one of blocks through a duplicated buffer memory. CONSTITUTION:Address information is successively changed in synchronism with successively supplied structural plane coordinate information and information on the source vector 48 read out correspondingly to the structural plane coordinates is temporarily stored in a holding means 43. The source information is read out of the means 43 in the order of storage in synchronism with the display plane coordinate forming operation on a display vector 49 corresponding to the vector 48 and supplied to an object information holding means 41. The holding means 41 is constituted of block memories 410-413, double buffer memories 450-453 are correspondingly connected to the block memories 410-413, timing control means 460-463 input the display plane coordinate information, decode the lower digit of the information and generate picture element information writing control signals through the double buffer memories to supply source information. In said constitution, mapping graphic information of high quality can be sufficiently rapidly displayed without stopping the operation of a linear interpolation calculator 43. |
