PURPOSE:To prevent a guide plate from coming in contact with a recording paper liable to occur with the decrease in the amount of the recording paper, and perform stabilized paper feeding, by enabling a set guide member to be turned to a point not coming in contact with a recording paper to be fed at the time when the diameter of the roll of said paper becomes the minimum from the set position of said paper. CONSTITUTION:The main body 3a of a guide plate 3 is fixed freely turnable with one axis of rotation of a pair of paper feed rollers 8 as a fulcrum, and is made freely movable between a set position II and a refuge bay I against the resiliency of a spring 4, with a cam 5 in contact on its rear side. The refuge bay is positioned at a point where the main body does not come in contact with a recording paper drawn from the roll 1 at the time when the diameter reaches its minimum value after a continued consumption of the paper. The roll paper 1 is aligned in position by the main body 3a, and the running of the paper is detected by a sensor 7, the roller is rotated and the paper is paid out. When the paper is detected by a sensor 10 located at the outlet port side of the roller 8, the rotation of the roller 8 is stopped, causing the turning of the cam 5, and the main body 3a is retracted to the refuge bay I. |
