摘要 PURPOSE:To secure the traveling faculty of a vehicle by installing a flywheel position sensor, position sensor output detecting means, and a prohibiting means and precisely detecting the generation of anomaly even if said anomaly is generated in the flywheel position sensor. CONSTITUTION:When the output signal of a flywheel position sensor changes from the disconnection state of a flywheel device 61 to the connection state, this change is detected by a position sensor output detecting means. When it is judged that the change of the output signal of the position sensor is generated in the state other than the switching from the two-wheel-drive state to the four-wheel-drive state of a transfer device 6, by a prohibiting means which receives the output of the position sensor output detecting means, said position sensor is considered to be in an abnormal state, and the switching of the center differential gear of the transfer device 6 into free state is prohibited. Therefore, the switching to the center differential gear free mode of the four-wheel-drive is prohibited irrespectively of the actual disconnection state of the flywheel device 61, and the traveling performance of the vehicle can be secured.
