DIRECT POSITIVE TYPE COLOR PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To improve color reproducibility of a direct positive type color photographic sensitive material by incorporating at least one kind of specified Magenta coupler and at least one kind of specified nucleating agent. CONSTITUTION:The title photographic sensitive material contains at least one kind of Magenta coupler expressed by formula I and at least one kind of nucleating agent expressed by formula II. In formulas I and II, each Za and Zb is a residue expressed by formula III or IV; each R<1> and R<2> is H or a substituent; X is H or a group eliminated by a coupling reaction with an oxidized body of an aromatic primary amine type developing agent; Z<1> is a nonmetal atomic group necessary for forming a 5- or 6-membered heterocyclic ring; R<1> is an aliphatic group; X is a residue expressed by formula V or VI; Q is a 4-12-membered nonaromatic hydrocarbon ring. By this constitution, a picture image having superior color reproducibility is obtd.
