An image processing apparatus, comprising: an input connectable to a remote controlled camera to receive an image of a scene from the camera and an output connectable to said camera to automatically control the movement of the camera to follow an object; and a processing circuitry configured to predict a future position of the object and to control the field of view of the camera to capture the scene at the predicted future position, wherein the processing circuitry is configured to compare the predicted future position with the current position and when the difference in the predicted future position and the current position is above a threshold, the processing circuitry is further configured to move the field of view of the camera, and the field of view of capture is adjusted to provide a predetermined distance between the object and the edge of the field of view.
