PURPOSE:To obtain the title preventive and remedy for nephropyelitis and cystitis of dairy cattle, etc., free from problems of development of resistant bacteria, side effects to the animal and influence to human body by residual medicine, by using a crude drug such as OUBAKU or GYUTAN as an active component. CONSTITUTION:The objective agent contains crude drugs selected from OUBAKU (a drug produced by removing cork layer from the bark of Phellodendron amurense or other plant of the same genus), GYUTAN (gall bladder of Bos taurus dried in the shade in suspended state), UBAI (a drug produced by peeling unripe plum fruit and drying the peeled fruit in a state embedded in soot), ENMEISO (leaf and stalk of Rabdosia trichocarpa, etc.) and GOBAISHI (gall formed mainly on the leaf of Rhus chinensis caused by the bite with Melaphis chinensis). The crude drug is administered in the form of powder of the raw material, extract produced by extracting with an organic solvent and/or water or an active component separated from the extract at a dose of 0.001mg-100g daily per 1kg body-weight in terms of the powder of the raw material. |
