<p>In order to provide a step nosing 5 which is not likely to be broken, this nosing is formed by special parts 3, made of ceramics, which are considerably thicker and stronger than the ceramic tiles 1, 2 forming the remaining part of the coping and riser of each step. The special parts 3 moreover fit together by means of a ribbing 6 on the upper edge of the tiles 2 of the riser. Their anchoring to the subjacent concrete is improved by additional ribbings 7 and they are lightened by transverse hollows 9 which help to laterally fix the parts 3 together. <IMAGE></p> |
