<p>PURPOSE:To enable sufficient supply of oxygen and to efficiently cultivate a large amount of plant cells without requiring labor and frequently changing a culture solution, by setting a netlike material in the vicinity of a liquid level in the culture solution and dedifferentiating the plant cells on the netlike material. CONSTITUTION:In cultivating and multiplying plant cells by using a culture solution 11, a netlike material 17 is held by supporting mechanisms 16 such as a ring-shaped supporting frame 16a and a supporting rod 16b in the vicinity of a liquid level 11a in the culture solution 11 in a closed culture container 10, the plant cells 18 are placed on the netlike material 17 and fresh air is sent from a gas feed pipe 16b to the culture solution by a pressure pump and the culture solution 11 is agitated by a stirrer 19a while supplying oxygen- containing air from an air exhaust hole 14a of an air feed ring 14 to the culture solution 11. Dedifferentiation and mass production of the plant cells 18 are consistently carried out on the netlike material 17 to cultivate the plant cells.</p> |
