PURPOSE:To contrive high-speed scanning by dividing a conductive wiring laid on a semiconductor substrate to transmit various types of a voltages in order to drive a scanning shift register or a charge migration type shift register into blocks in an (n) number ((n) is an integer at >=2). CONSTITUTION:The wiring is divided into plural number of blocks, for example 2 (11-1 and 11-2). By dividing in such a way, volume parasitic on the respective wirings 11-1 and 11-2 reduced by 1/2, a wiring resistance is reduced by 1/2, the rise time and fall time of a clock pulse observed at the other terminals (F1 and F2 points) of a clock pulse impressing terminal are reduced by 1/4, and the high-speed clock pulses can be transitted to the respective stages of a CCD shift register. The clock pulses can be supplied from the respective different clock pulse generators to a clock pulse impressing terminal 10. Thus, by dividing the conductive wiring consisting the shift register into the (n) pieces of blocks, and impressing the prescribed voltages at every block, the pulses at the high-speed rise time and fall time can be supplied, and high-speed scanning can be contrived. |
