PURPOSE:To obtain a highly accurate head in which terminals can be easily connected by fitting two thin film magnetic heads whose azimuth angles are different on individual divided head bases, connecting a coil electrode to an external electrode, and integrating the two head bases. CONSTITUTION:Two thin film magnetic heads 1a and 1b whose azimuth angles are different are stuck on respective head bases 3a and 3b, the coil electrode is connected to the external terminal, and then, the both heads 1a and 1b are constituted so as to be integrated at a prescribed position. Thus, the title double azimuth thin film magnetic head for VTR having an excellent function and its assembled body can be obtained in which the terminals can be easily connected, the feature dispersion between the both heads 1a and 1b is small, assembling accuracy is excellent, and the trouble points in usual technique are eliminated. |
