PURPOSE:To improve the graininess and the fixing property of a sensitive material by mounting a photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer contg. a particle epitaxially joined different kinds of silver halide crystals to silver iodide or silver iodobromide, on a supporting body, and by incorporating a polymer capable of supplying a cation site to a fixing solution in a layer existing at the same side to that of the photosensitive layer of the sensitive material. CONSTITUTION:At least one layer of the photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer contg. the particle epitaxially joined the different kinds of the silver halide crystals to the silver iodide or the silver iodobromide is mounted on the supporting body of the sensitive material. And, the polymer capable of supplying the cation site to the fixing solution is incorporated in the layer existing at the same side to that of the photosensitive layer. And, the fixing time of the sensitive material is reduced by raising a mean iodine content in the sensitive material and using a fixing accelerating agent, and the graininess and the fixing property of the sensitive material are improved. |
