A hopper unloading device which consists of an unloading frame (2) which rotates above the bottom (3) of the hopper (1) and allows granular material, e.g. chippings, to drop from the hopper into a shaft (4) located below it, from which shaft the material is conveyed further by means of an unloading conveyor (5) provided in conjunction with said shaft. For the circle of the unloading frame, a separate annular space (8) encircling the casing of the hopper is present, in which a scraper (6) attached to the circle of the unloading frame (2) conveys the material particles, which have flowed there, into the shaft (4). <IMAGE>
