PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a connector and a harness and to simplify the structure of an entire copying machine by impressing a developing bias voltage on a latent image carrier through conductive abutting members on a latent image carrier side and a developing device side. CONSTITUTION:A 2nd developing device 4 is pushed out to a left side by means of a switching cam 7b, resisting the spring power of a returning spring 8b. The abutting member 6 of the 2nd developing device abuts on the latent image carrier 1 with its conductive substance part. In such a state, the 2nd developing device 4 develops a latent image on the latent image carrier, when the developing bias voltage is impressed between the latent image carrier and the developing roll of the 2nd developing device by a power source 9 through the conductive substance of the abutting members 2 and 6. Thus, the structure of the entire copying machine can be simplified. |
