PURPOSE:To make mold releasing smooth and to considerably increase work efficiency by sticking a mica plate to the inside of the body of a mold for hot press molding composed of dies. CONSTITUTION:A mica plate 8 of phlogopite contg. fluorine, etc., is inserted and stuck to the inside 5 of the bottom of a lower die 2 by utilizing plate inserting grooves 7 cut along the inside 5. Glass powder 11 consisting of starting materials having different softening points is held between an upper die 3 and the lower die 2 and molded by pressing with a piston 10 and a cylinder 9 under heating. |
