NONWOVE WATER PRESSURE ENTANGLED NON-ELASTIC WEB AND PRODUCTION THEREOF

PURPOSE: To obtain nonwoven non-elastic web materials having good processibility and drape characteristic by hydraulically entangling a laminate having a meltblown fiber layer and a nonwoven material layer. CONSTITUTION: A meltblown web 14 made of meltblown fibers is laminated with at least one nonwoven material, preferably a non-elastic layer. The laminate 46 is continuously formed by directly collecting filaments 18 on the meltblown fiber layer 14. The fibers of the laminate on a mesh screen or a forming wire 48 are hydraulically entangled with each other by fluid streams from a jet generator 50. The entangled laminate (or the mixture of fibers) is dried through a drier and/or a drying can 52 and then wound by a winder 54.
