PURPOSE:To attain the selecting of interpolation of which error becomes minimum by adding a flag signal to present a detected interpolation method at every block and transmitting it. CONSTITUTION:The output signal of tabulating circuits 29-32 is supplied to a minimum value detecting circuit 34, the minimum value among the tabulated values of error data is detected at the minimum value detecting circuit 34, and an interpolation selecting flag is outputted. That, is, the interpolation selecting flag 35 of two bits to indicate an interpolation method of which error becomes minimum is generated. For instance, on selecting horizontal interpolation within a field, the interpolation selecting flag 35 of (00) is generated, on selecting vertical interpolation within a frame, the interpolation selecting flag 35 of (01) is generated, on selecting four points mean value interpolation within the frame, the interpolation selecting flag 35 of (10) is generated, and on selecting interpolation between the frames, the interpolation selecting flag 35 of (11) is generated. The interpolation selecting flag 35 is supplied to a framing circuit 36. Thus, it can prevent a large error from generating at the interpolation point of one part. |
