PURPOSE:To facilitate the adjustment of triboelectrostatic charge and to improve wear resistance by mixing a copolymer of (meth)acrylate and alkyl (meth) acrylate and a vinyl resin contg. a hydrolyzable silyl group at specific constitution ratios and forming a coating layer on a carrier surface. CONSTITUTION:The coating layer of the resin mixture consisting of the copolymer of the (meth)acrylate and alkyl (meth)acrylate contg. a fluorine-contained alkyl group and the vinyl group contg. hydrolyzable silyl groups in the molecule at 1:99-50:50 ratio by weight is formed on the carrier core material consisting of glass beads, metal particles, etc. The adjustment of the triboelectrostatic charge with the toner particles is facilitated in this way and the durability, wear resistance and electrostatic chargeability are improved. |
