PURPOSE:To reduce the size of the whole of a device and to prevent corrosion of a heat exchanger by a method wherein a drain pan is formed approximately in a T-shape, the depth thereof is set to respective values responding to a piping for a heat exchanger, a heat exchanger, and a drainage pump, and the depth of a place where the drainage pump is mounted is increased to a maximum. CONSTITUTION:A drain pan 6 is formed approximately in a T-shape, the installation positions of a piping 4a for a heat exchanger and a drainage pump 5 are situated in the direction of the short size of an approximate T-shape around a heat exchange 3 body, and a space on the exhaust hole 1b side is a place where a branch pipe 4a is installed. As a result, even when a controller 8 is positioned in the rear of the drainage pump 5, the length in the direction of depth of a device can be decreased, a ventilation flue is widely opened, and heat exchange efficiency is improved. Depths d1, d2, and d3 in respective positions situated facing the heat exchange piping 4, the heat exchanger 3, and the drainage pump 5, of the drain pan 6 are set in a relation of d1 < d2 < d3. The depth of the portion, positioned facing the piping 4, of the drain pan is decreased to a minimum, the depth of the portion, where the drainage pump 5 is situated, of the pan is increased to a maximum, and drainage is effected with the aid of a storage drainage pump 5, whereby the heat exchanger 3 body and the piping 4 are prevented from corrosion by water. |
