PURPOSE:To enable to discharge exhaust gas from an air bag outside a vehicle by constructing a structure such as to discharge the gas generated in operation through exhaust pipes fitted at one or more air exits and forming this exhaust pipe of a specific heat resistant organic film. CONSTITUTION:In an air bag device for detecting the acceleration at the time of collision of a vehicle and expanding a bag so as to prevent a passenger from colliding against a steering handle, a front glass, and the like, the air bag is formed of an optional heat resistant material within the extent of having lightness, compactness, expansibility, and the function to moderate the impact. In this case, one or more air exits for discharging the gas generated in operation are provided at the air bag, and the air exist is provided with an exhaust pipe for discharging the gas outside the vehicle. This exhaust pipe is formed of a heat resistant organic film with the melting point of over 400 deg.C or without a melting point. |
