ELECTROCHEMICAL MEASURING CELL FOR DETECTING COMPONENT IN MEASURING SAMPLE

PURPOSE: To compensate change of a pressure or volume of a chamber of an electrolytic solution at an external section of a face of a pressure support by forming a variable compensation diaphragm section in a diaphragm. CONSTITUTION: A measurement specimen hole 13 of a casing 12 has an insertion section 14 and a contact face 15 of a small truncated cone-shaped edge face of the insertion section 14 is equipped with a hole 16 through which the measurement specimen is passed to be set on a diaphragm 3 which is pressed against a measurement face 6 of a measuring electrode 7 and of which shape is in conformity with the face 6. A compensation diaphragm section 17 which is formed in a portion from an outside of a pressing section 22 of the diaphragm 3 between the contact face 15 and measurement face 6 to a fixing edge section of the diaphragm 3 tightened between a screw cap 4 and an O-ring 5 forms an isolation face between an electrolyte 2 and a liquid 18. The liquid 18 is filled in a gap between the casing 12 and insertion section 14 and a compression spring 20 operates between the support casing 12 and a shoulder section 21. A pressure difference in the electrolytic solution 2 with respect to the circumference is absorbed by the section 17.
