<p>PURPOSE:To automate attitude aligning process of a tire by fitting a center pin in the center hole in a tire wheel, rotating the tire, stopping the tire when a bolt hole sensing means has sensed any bolt hole, and inserting a hub pin in this bolt hole. CONSTITUTION:A lower roller 25 and an upper roller 35 are approached each other in a tire presetting device 11, followed by center alignment of the tire 6, and a center pin 60 is advanced through the action of a cylinder 73 for center pin to accomplish fitting in the center hole 91 of a wheel 90. Then a variable speed motor is operated to rotate the tire 6 on the lower roller 25 at a high speed, and when any bolt hole is sensed by a photo-electric switch 85 selected according to the type of tire 6, the variable speed motor is stopped. Then a cylinder 67 for hub pin is operated to fit a hub pin in a bolt hole other than the sensed one, and thus the center aligned condition is held.</p> |
