PURPOSE: To lower the contamination formation on a surface subjected to a coating treatment by compressing the particulate coating material in contact with the surface to be coated by continuous vibration and removing remaining the non-fixed coating material from the surface to be coated. CONSTITUTION: An element 11 to be coated on the surface 12 is placed in a frame 13 and is vibrated. While the element 11 vibrates, the powder coating material is settled toward an arrow 15 on the surface 12 in the frame 13. The element 11 is moved under air spraying 34 toward an arrow 36. The extremely fine non-fixed particles 32 of the coating material remaining after the actual coating treatment mainly on the non-tacky area of the surface 12 and on the constituting itself as well are removed in the form of the buff of dust 33. The definitely limited coating 37 of the non-tacky area remains before the surface 12. This coating 37 is distinguished by its high density and the secure bonding to the surface 12.
