<p>PURPOSE:To improve heat efficiency by applying fine powder of intermetallic compound including Al on the inner periphery of a metal sleeve, heating and fixing/sintering it in vacuum or in non-oxidizing atmosphere and forming an heat resistant blackening layer through heat treatment in moist hydrogen. CONSTITUTION:After the powder of an intermetallic compound including Al, whose particle diameter is 0.5 to several mum, is applied on the inner periphery of the metal sleeve 11 of a hot cathode structure in several to several tens mum thickness it is dried and is reacted and fixed to the inner periphery of the sleeve 11 by heat treating it in non-oxidizing atmosphere. With said heat treatment, particles of powder are mutually sintered and a layer having small irregularity is formed. Further, by heat treating this layer in moist hydrogen, the intermetallic compound powder layer is partially oxided and a blackening layer 15 having excellent heat resistance and heat absorbing characteristic can be obtained. In this way, the heat absorbing area and heat absorbing effect can be increased thus heat efficiency can be improved.</p> |
